Fintechnix OneOffice was implemented as green field site to support a renewal of the Life Insurance business of this major international player. After exhaustive research of available platforms over a nine month period, Fintechnix OneOffice was selected and the new market leading product launched in less than twelve months.

Key criteria included track record of successful delivery and having a team of solution architects who could enable the business users to maximise the value available. This took the form of renewed administrative processes in support of what is rated as the most powerful product management and quotation and management suite in the industry.

Fintechnix OneOffice has been integrated with many other supporting platforms including CRM and General Ledger. It provides end to end functionality for the market leading product set from New Business to Claims including Reinsurance and Commissions processing.

Fintechnix OneOffice has out of the box more than a dozen products pre-loaded and available to be cloned in whole or part and to provide for global or product line specific characteristics to be inherited.

In the world of direct marketing with multiple brands and ongoing product and distribution innovation a special platform like Fintechnix OneOffice is a prerequisite. It is all about highly visible marketing campaigns supported in the background by slick product launches - sometimes four or five new products a week - and the ability to continue to provide great administration servicing and ensure superior retention rates.

With a modern service oriented architecture Fintechnix OneOffice has been successfully integrated into various call centre applications and with its bulk load facilities using XML it enables the initiation of sales campaigns and the loading of results to happen very easily. Fintechnix OneOffice is a fully functional Life Insurance and Superannuation platform. This means that various Superannuation and Investment products including Allocated Pensions, Savings Bonds and Unit Trusts are managed on the same platform as your Life Insurance products.

The ability to cross train and have similar administrative processes as well as common integration to support the delivery of services to customers and advisors provides and very cost effective model for small to medium sized businesses. Premiums are treated based on the correct tax status for benefits such as Super for Life products.

All of the flexibility to deliver products and services to the full spectrum of distribution channels is available to the business. They utilise a tied advisor team and also market white branded Life Insurance products through third party call centres.

All of the other benefits are available to this customer on one platform.

Life Insurance - "Rip and replace"

"The old platform was no longer supported and we had no option but to rely on the team from Fintechnix to deliver. They were successful in replacing our existing platform and providing support for our existing product in less than twelve months."

In extreme cases customers have no choice but to replace their existing platform. It is a tough project to implement a new platform and to have this complicated by a full conversion off an existing platform made this an extremely challenging proposition for the customer and Fintechnix team. Having completed an exhaustive market search and tender process the customer selected Fintechnix OneOffice to replace its existing platform. It had the ability to support the current products, manage the historical data and maintain customer service.

There were many stakeholders both internal and external. The policy holders could not be impacted with premiums being debited and claims to process. The reinsurers and actuary's wanted to know that integrity had been maintained through out the process.

Fintechnix has a very powerful Data Staging Area and the ability through our Knowledge Base to capture all requirements and map any changes that may be required. It was a high pressure project and has continued to deliver significant value to the customer and their policy holders.
